“Common sense is so rare these days, it should be classified as a superpower.” This unattributed quote sparked the idea for our 2014 sales presentation. We may not have the ability to predict the future, control the weather, or time travel, but when it comes to rare qualities like common sense, integrity, trustworthiness and clear communication, we believe we qualify for the 3PL Justice League.
I took an informal poll, asking a few friends and Matchmaker team members to tell me the superpower they most desire. Some listed the powers mentioned above that would definitely be a boon to our business. Others responded with altruistic powers like healing, slowing down time for more precious moments with the kids, and the ability to grant everyone at least one wish. One ‘wise guy’, who shall remain nameless, answered my question: “If you could have any superpower in the world, what would it be?”, with just one word: “Russia.”
We hope you’ll take a moment to enjoy this logistics “movie” we created entitled: “Superheroes of Shipping.” It outlines some of the superpowers we bring to both our shipping and carrier customers.

Meanwhile, remember to appreciate your own superpowers. Superheroes may get to wear cool capes and fly and become invisible and drive Batmobiles, but not all of them have common sense:
Batman and Robin are camping in the desert, set up their tent and are asleep. Some hours later, Batman wakes his faithful friend. “Robin, look up at the sky and tell me what you see.”
Robin replies, ” I see millions of stars.”
“What does that tell you?” asks Batman.
Robin ponders for a minute. Then he says:
“Astronomically speaking, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.
Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo. Chronologically, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three.
Theologically, it’s evident the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant.
Meteor-logically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.
What does it tell you, Batman?”
Batman is silent for a moment, then speaks: “Robin, you idiot, someone has stolen our tent.”
