This is Shelly, the Matchmaker Logistics Office Manager, writing to you from Charlottesville, VA. Bob is on the road this week, traveling to the annual NASTC conference in Nashville. Then, he moves on to Kentucky to visit some of our shipper and carrier clients. So, I’m pitching in. Because that’s what family does.
You see, Matchmaker Logistics has been a family-owned business since 1981. And every member of our team is a part of that family. In fact, we all call our weekly team meetings “Family Meetings”.
Modern families come in all shapes and sizes, and at Halloween, I can think of none better than the Addams Family. Voted one of the Top 10 Greatest TV Families of All Time by TV Guide, the Addams are the ultimate creepy, kooky, mysterious, spooky and all together ooky family.
I couldn’t help imagining Bob as Gomez, our VP, Mary, as Morticia, and our Carrier Sales Reps (Pam, Kendra and Caraline) as the kids and uncle that make up this kooky clan. What do you think? Do you see a resemblance after watching this video?
