Sometimes, parking is a challenge. I guess it’s why this video of a FedEx truck driver went viral, getting over half-a-million views.
The truck driver skillfully reversed his big rig into a very narrow loading dock bay in lower Manhattan. Would you have the skills – or the courage – to attempt that parking job?
For many people, it seems that parking is a huge challenge. I repeatedly see people struggling just to back into a parking space at the supermarket–even those with the new backup cameras in their cars!
Then, there are those who think that the lines demarcating parking spaces are just mere suggestions. I think we’ve all experienced that moment when we were desperately searching for a parking spot only to discover that someone took up two (or four!) spaces.
It’s infuriating. In fact, it’s so annoying that an entire cottage industry has sprung up selling
“Bad Parking Cards” you can leave on the windshields of those self-important, careless offenders who violate the rules of common courtesy.
Of course, others choose to be more….ahem…”proactive”, exacting their revenge against bad parking culprits in other ways. As for me, I’m thinking that FedEx driver could have a promising new career as a Parking Instructor:
Stay between the lines this weekend,
