On Valentine’s Day, Mary got a fantastic call from one of ‘our’ drivers. Robert with Kottke Trucking, called in to say how excited he was to be working with Matchmaker on Valentine’s Day! He said: “I hope that we are a perfect match!”
Whether you’re a hopeless romantic who loves a day dedicated to wine, chocolate and flowers, or a more skeptical sort who sees Valentine’s Day as one of those manufactured ‘Hallmark holidays’, we bet you still appreciate a good love story. This week, we get to share two of them:
Congratulations to Pam Carrier on her engagement. After meeting almost 7 years ago and dating steadily for the past 4 years, Chuck finally popped the question! Pam says: “We are not into a lot of mushy stuff, so his proposal was a simple one. He talked with my Dad and then asked me to marry him.” They are planning a wedding for May 2013.
Congratulations are also in order for Robbie Johnson who will be celebrating a 25th wedding anniversary with her husband, Philip, next week!
At Matchmaker, we’ve spent more than 30 years building long-lasting relationships in our industry that are based on honesty, respect, and integrity. We know it’s not just about finding the perfect match, but being the perfect match.
So, whether you believe in Cupid or you question why a fat toddler with a weapon is the symbol of true love, we have a ‘perfect’ quote for you:
“The Eskimos had fifty-two names for snow because it was important to them: there ought to be as many for love.” ~ Margaret Atwood
“If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular?” – Unknown
Enjoy your weekend.
